There is no single formula – Arsenal have won in three entirely different styles. Against Coventry, they dominated with possession and suffocation. Then against Chelsea, they were willing to play end-to-end, using pace and cleverness to exploit spaces. This tactical versatility is the strongest message to their rivals: Arsenal are not one-dimensional, they have several ways to earn points. From a tactical analyst's perspective, these three wins also demonstrate squad depth and maturity. Mikel Arteta has clearly built a system that can adapt to opponents and game states. Individuals are stepping up: Martin Ødegaard controls the tempo better, Bukayo Saka remains a feared attacking threat, and Riccardo Calafiori is proving his worth as a new signing. Even when Declan Rice had an off day, Arsenal still had enough to make a difference – a hallmark of a truly top team. But caution is needed.
